Honourable Rebeccah Adar Sambo, a Commmunity health worker turned politician and currently a reconciliator through the study of Peace and Security, University of Abuja. From Jos, Plateau State, she joined girl Guiding at ECWA no. 1 Toro local government Bauchi State as a Brownie at the age of 8 years but could not continue because of lack of dedicated officers. While holding office as Transition committee chairman i was appointed the Jos East local government patron of girl Guide. This revived my interested and I grabbed the opportunity offered to enroll properly were I was re-elected as assistant State Commissioner for plateau State in 2010 and later State Commissioner in 2013. This gave me the opportunity to improve in the enrollment and membership drive in plateau State and neighbouring State like Bauchi State we’re I started.
In March 2018 I was elected Deputy chief Commissioner Zone C, Nigerian Girl Guide Association. My vision is to see that the membership of zone is highly increase and non Guiding State under the zone get included among many other things. I thank NGGA for giving me the opportunity to serve the organization, and I promise to do my best by the special grace of God.
